The assignment should be completed in RMarkdown and knitted into a html file. Your submission should be a zip file containing the RMarkdown file and the html output it creates. When the RMarkdown file is re-run, it must produce the same html output that you submit. Each of the two questions should have two parts. The first part should include the code that you produce to perform all stages of the data analysis. It should read in the datafile provided, check the integrity of data, calculate all of the statistics requested by the organisation/company, and produce all of the figures/visualisations requested. The purpose of this first part is that it could be shared with someone else who is not familiar with the data or project, but is expert in R and statistics. They should be able to see how you achieved your results, and if necessary, easily modify the code to work with new or updated data.Therefore, the appropriateness of your comments and data documentation will also be assessed. The second part should be a polished and professional report presenting and interpreting the findings for the management board of the organisation/company. You should assume that the management board have a basic knowledge of the questions that have been asked and the data that has been collected, but are not experts in statistics or R. Therefore, you should communicate the results clearly and accurately, without relying on technical terms. The visualisations and figures in this section should be as clear as possible and of publication standard that could be presented to investors or other professionals.

A high school implemented a buddying system where older students spent time tutoring some of the younger students. The students in the younger classes were selected at random. All students were tested at the beginning of the academic year and at the end. For all students, their attendance in regular classes was monitored and is given in the `absences` variable as a proportion of class time that was missed Your task is to examine the students’ scores and see whether the tutoring scheme had an effect. Check whether the students allocated to the tutored and non-tutored groups had similar or different average test scores before the tutoring scheme began. Did the tutored and non-tutored students have similar or different rates of absences on average? Did the tutored students show an increase in their scores compared to the students who did notreceive tutoring? Was there any effect of absences on the change in scores, and did this have any interaction with the effect of tutoring?Part 1 should contain all of your code for the analyses, and the output showing how you checked/validated the data. In part 2 for this question, you should concisely report the results of the above. You should describe the conclusions with respect to the questions asked by the school, and report the statistical tests using standard reporting conventions, using a NHST approach and an estimation approach.
