•  Give a clear picture on: What is the problem/issue you want to find answers to? Motivation behind this study?
•  State clear Research Questions (RQs) and research objectives.

Literature Review 

•  Set your study in the wider context
•  Show how your study supplements existing work

Methodology 

•  Describe your research strategy: Experiment? Survey? Case study?
•  Discuss data collected: Primary or secondary? Quant or qual? How was data collected? Definition of variables?
•  Describe how data was analysed: Descriptive statistics?

Relationships/trends? Analytical tools – e.g. linear programming, simulation, warehouse activity profiles, Pareto analysis, process mapping, fishbone diagram, etc?

Results & Discussion

•  Report the facts your research discovered
•  Interpret results and relate your findings to your RQs and stated objectives
•  Indicate implications of the research

Conclusions & Recommendations

•  Did project answer the RQs and meet the research objectives?
•  What are the main findings? How can the findings be applied?
•  Are there any recommendations for future action?
