•  The mini-lectures and activities in Lesson 2 help you to develop your problem statement and research question.
•  The mini-lectures and activities in Lesson 3 help you to develop your literature review.
•  It is essential that you watch the mini-lectures and complete the activities before trying to write your assignment.
•  The text of this assignment must be a maximum of 6 pages. In addition, you must include a title page, table of contents and reference list.
•  The instructions below tell you what must go on page 1 of your assignment and what must go on pages 2-6 of your assignment.
•  It is essential that you follow these instructions.
•  Tip – use a heading for each section.

Literature Review
4. Pages 2 – 6 present your literature review – In the literature review:
a. Provide a brief introduction (3 sentences) that explains what will be discussed in the literature review.
b. Then start by conceptualizing or defining (in a scholarly way, drawing on references) key terms relevant to your study.
c. Then discuss a small number of themes that you have identified in the literature that you reviewed that relate to your research question. It is important to integrate the readings.
d. Identify an area that is insufficiently explored in the literature (the so-called ‘gap’) that your research will address.
