A3: Environmental Health Essay
Task description: You will select and address one of the essay questions from the list below. These questions are intended to be provocative and it may be tempting to argue only from one side – a key challenge of this assessment is to provide a range of balanced, objective ‘for and against’ arguments supported by high quality evidence and considering a range of different viewpoints, audiences and communities. Ahead of these arguments an introduction is required. The essay should finish with a conclusion based upon your synthesis of where the balance of evidence lies and can include original and novel observations of your own (but must be clearly identified as such and made tentatively with respect to evidence available). A minimum of 15 peer-reviewed references to be cited. This is a short essay with strict word interval of no fewer than 1000 words and no more than 1200 words; concise delivery is a key challenge.
