Task 

This Assignment aims to enable students to develop relevant content for leading or facilitating a group discussion. Additionally, the Assignment also emphasizes reflection by the student in terms of their learnings and insights on participatory training methodology.

Part A 
Please view the following videos listed below. Select any one of the videos for your

Assignment. Prepare a document including the following:

• Describe the training programme, its context, location, and participant profile (150-200 words). These details must be relevant to each video’s “setting” information.
• Utilize the ORID method/framework to develop questions for a large group discussion. Prepare a matrix with 4-6 questions about ‘observation’, 3-4 questions about ‘reflection’, 3-4 questions about ‘interpretive’, and 2-3 questions about ‘decisional.’
• Link it to Kolb’s Experiential Cycle of Learning, specifically explaining how different stages of each of the four steps can be covered by the ORID Method of discussion.
• Utilizing the Kolb Experiential Cycle of Learning and the ORID method, highlight some of the facilitation skills that will be used during the group discussion.

Part B 
Write a reflective note about your critical insights regarding participatory training methodology. Include an analysis of adult learning theories and perspectives. As a facilitatorin-the-making, list eight to ten key aspects you would consider across the following four elements of facilitation when designing any training program:

• physical involvement
• personal readiness
