Provide an analysis of 2016 Census results from a Statistics Canada table

1.     What is are the differences across different populations?
2.     How do those differences vary for different sub-populations?
3.     Where useful, summarize the information using

•     Tables 
•     Graphs (as appropriate)
•     Indices (as appropriate)

You can use Beyond 20/20 (if you have access to a Windows based computer) or just use the HTML system on the website.

1.     The table included crosses:

•     Aboriginal identity
•     Employment income
•     Work activity (full time or part time)
•     Schooling (highest certificate)
•     Major field of study
•     Age groups
•     Sex
•     Geography (Canada, Provinces, Territories)

1. Using the methods that we have covered in class (you can also include methods that have not been covered if you wish). 
2. You are free to choose any elements of the table as the focus for your analysis – in other words, you do not have to look at differences between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal populations if you do not want to.  There are plenty of other groups to look at: i.e.: differences by sex, region, level of schooling.
3. Your methods can include (but are not limited to): 

•     Frequency distributions
•     Percent distributions
•     Analysis of means
•      Index of dissimilarity
